WOW presents Wear Red Day

Women of Wisdom, WOW, observed National Wear Red Day at Sunday morning services on February 9, 2020.

National Wear Red Day is celebrated on the first Friday of February to bring awareness to heart diseases. A woman dies every 80 seconds due to heart disease, making it the most deadly disease to women. The women of God’s Oasis wore red today, even a few men did, including Pastor Michael Vaughn. WOW presented the women with heart health awareness gift bags that included heart-smart snacks, water, tips to fight heart disease and a list of tasty heart-smart snacks.
